The South-West Coast Path, a 630-mile trail from Minehead to Poole, runs through the village, along with a network of footpaths which offer stunning views of the coast – perfect for hiking.
During low tide, hikers can make their way to the RSPB bird sanctuary beach of Porthkidney Sands to encounter rare wildflowers and migratory birds. Keen eyes might also spot the wrecks of three ships which sank in November 1893 during the ‘Cintra Gale'.
