Hotels in Bletchley

Bletchley's size and popularity have grown ever since trains first began stopping here in 1845. The area was also massively expanded during ‘The Plan for Milton Keynes'. It's now a commuter town and home to one of the UK's biggest pieces of wartime history.

The convenience and quality of Bletchley hotels is attractive to tourists, business travellers and families.

Fun for the kids

As there are several primary and secondary schools in the area, the town offers plenty for kids to do.

Race the family at Formula Fast indoor karting. The 500-metre track can be booked in advance, so your team can have exclusive use of the track.

There's more to do indoors at Bounce trampoline park, which is suitable for kids aged three and over. Alongside more than 22, 000 square feet of trampolines, there are basketball hoops and a dodgeball court.

Places to eat and drink

Just like any other suburban town, Bletchley is well served by restaurants and takeaways.

If you're in the mood for something familiar, grab pizza from Papa John's or a box meal at Burger King. Fried chicken, fish and chips and Chinese food can all be found close by.

Veggie World is a specialist choice for those who don't eat meat. The restaurant offers Asian-style dishes made with soya and tofu substitutes.

Bletchley Park

It's the most recognisable place in the area, and is worth visiting. Bletchley Park is both a tourist hotspot and a heritage site. The entry price includes an iTouch Multimedia Guide to help you explore and learn more.

The National Museum of Computing is just across the way. The collection of historic computers – the vast majority still working – is Europe's largest.

Days out from Bletchley

From Bletchley rail station, getting to Milton Keynes Central takes less than ten minutes. It's then a short walk to The Centre: MK for shopping and more restaurants. The Xscape has a cinema, bowling and indoor skiing and snowboarding.

In the other direction, the line takes you to London Euston. Stay close to the station to explore the Wellcome Collection, which displays unusual artefacts on the theme of medicine.
