At the end of a pleasant two-mile walk beginning at Tommich, you can find Plodda Falls, the highest and most spectacular waterfall in the area at over forty metres high. Get up close to the impressive Rogie Falls from a new suspension bridge across the Black Water River, where in August and September there's a very good chance of seeing wild salmon leaping upstream. If you visit after heavy rain or snow, you'll find most of the falls are even more sensational.
There is a wide variety of activities for all ages in and around Beauly. Every Thursday during the summer the Beauly Pipe Band and local Highland dancers take to the square in the village and provide spectacular free entertainment for all.
