Reachable only via the Feuerkogel Cable Car, Berggasthof Edelweiss is located high above Lake Traun and surrounded by the summits of the Höllengebirge mountains and offers a breathtaking view of the Salzkammergut. Family-run for 3 generations, this mountain inn enjoys a unique location on one of the Salzkammerguts most beautiful panoramic plateaus. The rooms are lovingly and individually furnished in an alpine style. The Berggasthof Edelweiss combines a wonderfully quiet and green location on the 1,600-metre Feuerkogel mountain with modern comfort. The skiing and hiking area starts right at the doorstep. A ski school, ski rental and mountain guides can be reached in a 3-minute walk. Please note that the inn can only be reached by cable car (until 17:00). Parking is available free of charge at the valley station of the Feuerkogel Cable Car.

Please inform Berggasthof Edelweiss in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Please note that the Berggasthof Edelweiss can only be reached via the Feuerkogel Cable Car. The first ascent is at 08:30, the last is at 17:00 (every 30 minutes in between). Please note that the last cable car runs at 17:00. It is not possible to reach or leave the inn after 17:00. An ascent or descent on the hiking trail (no. 820) takes 3 hours and requires sturdy shoes.
