Take a break from the unpredictable weather and catch some sun in Tenerife, the largest of Spain’s Canary Islands with a spring-like climate, white sandy beaches, and a popular clubbing scene. Dubrovnik has impressive 16th-century walls surrounding its Old Town with Gothic and Renaissance buildings and there are plenty of island to hop, such as Rab in the Kvarner Gulf with 22 sandy beaches into its 90sq km area.
The Algarve in southern Portugal features a typical Mediterranean climate, dramatic clifftops, golden beaches and great golf courses such as Oceanico Golf in Vilamoura with an impressive seven courses.
