Lanzarote is one of Spain's Canary Islands. It is the fourth largest of the islands and is located 125km off the coast of Africa and 1000km away from mainland Spain. On average, the flight time from the UK is just over 4 hours. What's the weather like in Lanzarote?

Lanzarote has a subtropical climate and more than 300 days of sunshine every year. Summers are hot and sunny and winters are mild with little rainfall per month (1-3 days). For travellers seeking the highest temperatures, the best time to visit Lanzarote is between June and September. August is the hottest month with highs of 28°C and lows of 20°C, and January and February are the coldest months with highs of 20°C and lows of 13°C. Given Lanzarote's high temperatures throughout the year, it is popular year-round.
