Information about flights to Sydney

Cheap flights Sydney

Sydney is a great destination at all times of the year, thanks to its hot Australian climate. The Sydney Opera House makes for one of the most iconic skylines in the world, and attracts tourism from all over as a result. Due to its popularity you'll find as soon as you exit your Sydney flight that the people are helpful and well prepared for visitors.

The Aussie Outback

The natural surroundings of Sydney are some of the most impressive in the world. Here you'll be able to enjoy the sea and visit beaches like the family friendly shores of Bronte beach, where you can take the kids for a fun afternoon playing in the sand and sea. If you're looking for something to keep you busy then grab a surfing lesson from Manly beach, where all the lifeguards will be on boards of their own.

Once you're in the water you might as well pick from the long list of fishing trips, boat cruises and reef snorkelling that are on offer all over the city coastline.

For something a bit drier you can travel a little further out into New South Wales to see some of the Australian desert on one of the city's many day trips. Follow an expert tour guide amongst the dunes and meet some of the local wildlife on your way.

In the evening

Once you're tired from the day's activities, it'll soon be time to venture out once again. At night there's plenty to do in Sydney, so be prepared to put on your glad rags and head for the city centre.

The bar scene here is particularly good, founded on the positivity of their staff who take a real pride in their work. Stop by the Bottleneck Bar and Eatery where you'll be able to enjoy the unique Bloody Mary and meatball menus, with plenty of twists on the old classics. The bar also boasts a great long list of pre-made and bottled cocktails, like their take on the Old Fashioned, which packs quite a punch.

The Australian Heritage hotel isn't far away. As one of the city's original pubs it's steeped in history and managed to build up quite a fan base. Once inside you can choose from an enormous array of beers behind the bar. If you're a real ale expert then consult the staff, otherwise feel free to just pick from the long list of amusing names – you won't be disappointed.
