    The hotel is in the lovely Buda side of Budapest in the picturesque Buda castle area. It’s much quieter than the Pest side and very atmospheric but you do have to be prepared to climb the hill every time you return from the Pest side (there are regular buses if you want to use them) We had a lovely unique room (which is what I wanted - rather than the bland rooms that you get everywhere) All the staff were lovely and they all spoke excellent English (as does pretty much everyone in Budapest) Plenty of lovely food at breakfast The only reason that I’ve given 4* is that w decided to eat at the hotel on our final evening whilst we waited for our airport transfer and as a non meat eater I’m used to only having 1-2 options but there was literally nothing without fish or meat (even the pasta had Squid ink in it) I would definitely recommend staying at the hotel but eat elsewhere if you are a non meat eater
