Hotel is in an ideal location, within a couple of minutes walk of 3 of the main attractions, the grand bazaar was under 20 minutes and Galata Bridge 45 minutes walk. The rooms are clean and spacious, staff are highly professional, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast wasn't great (hence 4 stars and not 5 sorry), but the views from the rooftop terrace - which is partially covered - are great. I'd stay here again, the neighbourhood was safe at night and transport links were easily accessible. Just beware of taxis that don't have the meter running, you WILL get ripped off, ask the hotel to arrange the taxi and confirm the price before you get in. Fare from the airport was a reasonable 180 Lira, but the return trip to the airport was 350 Lira, simply because the meter was not running (the hotel made this booking for us but didn't confirm the price).
