Initially, the idea was to offer the most advantageous sales of the year, just after American Thanksgiving on the last Thursday of November. Black Friday marks the beginning of the festive season and Christmas shopping period.
When is Black Friday on lastminute.com?
This event has been so successful that most big companies around the world have now extended the sale to a whole week. American Black Friday takes place this year on Friday 29th November, but with lastminute.com the Black Friday promotions will start on 25th November and last until, and including Cyber Monday on 2nd December 2024. With a whole week of exclusive Black Friday travel offers and savings, this is how we stay true to the spirit of our brand.

Lucky newsletter subscribers will get a head start on the action, receiving a £100 discount code by email on 25th November. All lucky subscribers who have signed up for our newsletters by 10th November will receive their discount code by email on 25th November.
For all our other customers, discount codes will be released on 29th November on our Black Friday and Last Minute deals pages.
