Country life

A trip to the Spanish countryside will give you a chance to enjoy the many trails and mountains of Spain. Many of the structured tours depart from Barcelona, such as the Dali Day Tour which will take you to a variety of coastal spots outside of Barcelona city to enjoy the Spanish architecture and scenery.

The Spanish islands are a great way to see Spain in a slightly more secluded setting. You will find no shortage of beaches and some great seafood restaurants too. In the city

If the city life is right for you then Barcelona might be a good choice. The city has a vibrant nightlife and plenty of places to visit over a short distance. Spain’s capital is Madrid. It’s a city with something for everyone. If you feel like soaking in the culture the Prado and Sorolla museums both offer tours and have plenty of Spanish art to view. The city contains lots of beautiful gardens as well, like the carefully maintained Retiro Park which is open in the day time for visitors to tour the gardens.

If you want to really get a grip of the country then the palaces of Madrid are a must-see. The Cybele Palace and Royal Palace are two beautiful old buildings in the centre of the city surrounded by statues and gardens. Local vendors are readily available nearby if you feel like stopping for a coffee or cold drink while you see the old royal housing.
