Top Tips for Enjoying Disneyland Paris
Parenting blogger, Part Mummy Part Me relates the tale of her recent trip to Disneyland Paris. She begins...without a caffeine fix and ends with her top tips....'The peculiar thing about Disneyland, Paris is that you can't get a decent coffee for love nor money. Not in the park, the studios, the village nor the hotels. There wasn't a Gaggia in sight. I had to make do with Nescafe espresso or, worse, Nescafe cappuccino - the kind that started life as a dry powder and owes its foaminess to E-numbers. I'm surprised the Disney staff haven't mounted a strike in protest. Her top tipsMake it a Mini BreakGo Off PeakKnow your RidesGet Up Early(Bring your own Gaggia too)And you can read the full post here....My top tip is to make Disneyland a part of your holiday and stay at one of the hotels quite near but not on site. I stayed at the Dream Castle 4* and there is a complimentary shuttle bus which runs regularly between the resort and the hotels. We had a fab time, making full use of the on site spa and pool and totally loved the games and entertainment dotted around hotel.Even better, at dinner all the kids dress up as their favourite characters so you can tell who has been to Disney that day and those who aren't dressed up are obviously new arrivals and awaiting a fabulous treat. And yes, it is totally magical, do not, I repeat, do not, miss the evening Parade. We got onto the steps of Main Street station and got a spectacular view of the fireworks and it goes on to about 11pm which means the last shuttle bus is packed and full of happy, tired parents and children.
