The recently-opened Rashnee Silk Village in Hua Hin resembles a traditional Thai silk-weaving rural village and aims to increase awareness about Thai silk and its origins.
There are displays tracing the history of the precious fabric, demonstrations of silk-making processes and a vast range of silks for sale. Material can be bought by the metre or made into dresses by the in-house Mike & Co tailor.
