- Petronas Twin Towers Sky Lobby
Topped out in 1998 and officially opened in 1999, Kuala Lumpur's 88-storey Petronas Twin Towers together form the one of the world's tallest buildings - standing a resplendent 1483 feet (452 metres) high. American architect Cesar Pelli created this beautiful building with obvious Islamic influence, including curved and pointed bays to create a scalloped facade emulating temple towers. Visit the sky-lobby, 41 floors up, for stunning views of the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur.
- Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat
Around 30 years ago, a great fire destroyed much of Phitsanulok, including some irreplaceable 14th century palaces and temples. Miraculously the central temple, or wat, escaped the fire, thereby protecting the second most important Buddha image in the land.
- Bukit Timah Nature Reserve
Singapore is one of only two cities in the world to have a significant area of primary rainforest within its boundaries. The 164-hectare Bukit Timah reserve, only 12 kilometres from the city centre, contains more species of trees than the entire North American continent.

A first stop when visiting Bangkok, the Grand Palace with the Royal Temple (Wat Phra Kaew, or Wat Phra Kaeo), home of the Emerald Buddha, is the spiritual heart of the nation. The entire palace complex offers 218,400 square metres of intricate symbolism, history and cultural traditions.
