Driving Directions

From St George’s, take the Maurice Bishop Highway and exit at Point Salines junction.

Car Parking

200 short-term parking spaces are available. There are several disabled parking spaces near the terminal building.

Car Hire

Dollar (tel: 444 4786; websitel: www.dollar.com ) has a desk in the terminal. Avis (tel: 440 3936, website: www.avis.com ) hasn’t, but they will come and meet you at the airport. It is also possible to rent a car from big hotels and from David’s Car Rental (tel: 444 3399/4091; website: www.davidscars.com ), Y&R Car Rental (tel: 444 5153) and Archie’s Car Rental (tel: 444 4101).

Public Transport

Taxis are available from the airport. Contact Grenada Airport Taxi Association (tel: 444 4925) and Progressive Airport Association (tel: 444 4040) for more information. Journey time to St George’s town centre is approximately 10 minutes. There is a bus from the airport to St George, but service is irregular as most travellers prefer to get a taxi.

There is a tourist information desk, operated by Grenada Board of Tourism, located in the arrival hall before immigration control. Information on hotel accommodation, tour packages, exchange rate, car rental and general assistance is available here. There is also a brochure rack with maps, magazines and information of places and services of interest for tourists. For more local tourist information, visitors should call 440 2279.

Light refreshments, duty free shops and a first class lounge are available in the departure lounge. Restaurants and bars are located on level two and level one respectively of the public concourse. All these airport facilities are open 0600-2230.
