Resort description
Copper is a great resort offering a convenient village at the base of one of Colorados finest ski mountains. The modern village offers skiers good après ski and a selection of restaurants in the evening and being at the base of the slopes you can go straight from the slopes to the bars. The mountain is one of the largest in Colorado with well over 120 runs and an annual snow fall of 7 meters! The deep powder skier will love this resort but there is plenty to keep the more timid and intermediate skier happy too.
Copper Mountain is almost completely segmented by your ability, the left side is a maze of gentle green runs some stretching as far as 5km, to the right side of the mountain there is a plethora of blue runs for those looking to up the anti. Some of the runs are groomed while others are left with a good amount of Colorado powder the choice is yours. For the more advanced skiers if you venture towards the top of the mountain you find a huge amount of black chutes and bowls to test your ability, or head onto the back of the mountain and play in the powder within the Copper High Alpine Bowls which are wide open bowls sitting above the tree line.
Copper Ski Resort is split between tow village, Copper Village and Copper Village East, both villages are in ski-in/ski-out positions although it is Copper Village that offers the majority of shops, restaurants and nightlife. The well laid out village offers a good variety of entertainment in the evening for skiers with popular bars such as Zizzo Ski Bar and good restaurants like the C.B. Grille which is a good North American steak house.
Accommodation description
Copper Village has a number of accommodation buildings all within the main village and a snowballs throw of the ski lifts. The Silver Hotel Rooms are well presented and spacious featuring all the facilities you would expect of a North American hotel. Most of the buildings have hot tubs to rest your legs after a tough day on the slopes.
Most accommodation buildings have their own hot tub and the restaurants and bars of Copper are always just a short, easy walk away.
The arrival airport is Denver Airport and the transfer time to the resort is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes.

In our Opinion
Copper is one of Colorados finest with a great village at the base of one of the most expansive and diverse ski areas within the state. Huge snowfalls and the massive amount of runs for any standard make this a great resort for all abilities. The good village with vibrant après ski is the icing on the cake
