If you stay south of the lake, your closest ski areas will be Heavenly, Sierra and Kirkwood. North of the lake, you can ski the likes of Northstar, Alpine Meadows and the legendary Squaw Valley. But, wherever you stay, using your car or crossing the lake on a paddle steamer, it's possible to ski all over with the interchangeable pass. Getting Around, South Lake Tahoe offers FREE shuttles to the casinos and to Heavenly, Sierra and Kirkwood ski areas. Transfers - Driving Time: Lake Tahoe is a 4-hour drive from San Francisco Airport.

Après ski Our wonderful ski reps organise all kinds of stuff including the Saturday Night Dixie Paddle Steamer Dinner Dance Cruise. The Pub Tahoe and the Tudor Pub and The Blue Angel Café is extremely popular too! For night owls, Blu at the Mont Bleu Casino and Altitude are a must.
