Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Montreal

Upon arrival at Montreal International Airport, you will be tranferred to your downtown hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure to further explore cultural Montreal.

Day 2 - Montreal

Take a sightseeing tour of Montreal today. Highlights the city has to offer include the beautiful Notre Dame Basilica, the residential and financial districts, historic Old Montreal, the Olympic Complex, St Joseph Oratory, the view of the campus of McGill University and the panoramic views from the top of Mont Royal. Not to forget the many options for shopping and dining.

Day 3 - Montreal to Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier

Today you will be transferred to the Ice Hotel via Quebec City. The Ice Hotel is located at the Station touristique Duchesnay on the shores of Lake St. Joseph. Enjoy your Welcome cocktail and get ready for a distinctive and unrivaled experience at this attraction which is unique in North America.
The Ice hotel is made of ice and snow with ceilings as high as 5.4 metres (18 ft), walls covered with original artwork and furniture carved from ice blocks. The Ice hotel is rebuilt every year and houses many rooms and themed suites, two exhibition rooms, a cinema, a night club, a small church, functional fireplaces and hot tubs and the famous Absolut Ice Bar.
Tonight you will sleep in a cozy room, tucked in a warm sleeping bag on a bed of deer pelts. Dinner is included.

Day 4 - Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier

During your two days in this resort, you have use of snowshoes, cross-country skis, resort trails and skating equipment, ensuring a fun-filled stay with a full array of winter activities. After a day of playing in the snow, slip into the hot tub to warm up and re-energise, followed by a cocktail at the Ice Bar before enjoying a peaceful dinner.
Tonight you will sleep in one of the rustic style log cabins of the Duchesnay Ecotouristic Centre, where 46 rooms are equipped with a TV, telephone and bathroom. Breakfast and Dinner included

Day 5 - Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier to Quebec City

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Quebec City, where you will spend the next two days.
Quebec is a fantastic walking town, where attractions, shops, and restaurants are within easy reach. The remainder of the day is yours to discover and fall under the spell of Quebec's old-world charm mixed with modern flair. Wander along the majestic St. Laurence River which winds its way through the city, go for a skate in Old Quebec or soak up the mix of European and American atmosphere in one of the many gourmet restaurants, chic bistros and cosy cafes.

Day 6 - Quebec City

When winter gets here, Quebec City turns into a huge playground full of activities to make a winter vacation unforgettable. Hop onto a tour bus to see the city's many attractions or wrap up warm and explore Quebec by foot. Discover Lower Town, home to the first settlers of New France, with the old port district and the picturesque Place Royale. Visit the citadel, a national historic monument and official residence of the Governor General. Enjoy Battlefields Park, better known as the Plains of Abraham. It was once the site of great battles between the English and French armies and is now a popular city park. Climb the steep, winding roads and stairways to Upper Town, where you will see the Fortifications, which make Quebec unique in North America. And towering above it all is the Chateau Frontenac, famous landmark and one of the most photographed buildings in the world.
If you are looking for a unique souvenir or two, head back to the Place Royale Commercial District, where you will find local craftspeople, boutiques, bistros and art galleries. This area is particularly busy with activity during the Winter Carnaval(February). The carnaval features an Ice Palace, parades, a snow sculpture show and the Plains of Abraham are transformed into a winter wonderland with dogsledding rides, ice-climbing, snow-rafting and mini-golf on ice. In the evening, go outside the city walls and head to the St-Roch neighborhood for some bustling nightlife.

Day 7 - Departure

Today you will be transferred to Quebec International Airport, ready to check in for your homebound journey.
