Oman is one of the fastest emerging countries in the Middle East and a visit there will reveal dramatic landscapes and friendly people. The capital city of Muscat is a good place to start a tour of Oman and you are sure to be enchanted by its traditional charms. Outside of the city there are plenty more sights worthy of a visit, the northern Batinah coast with many spectacular fort towns reveals an insight into the middle east of days gone by.

You should also stop by the impressive Jabrin Castle, Samail, which holds Oman’s oldest mosque, and Wadi Shab, which is a breathtakingly beautiful collection of aquamarine pools, waterfalls and terraced landscapes. Oman has a wildly changing climate and the best time to visit is during the pleasantly warm months of October – March but whenever you visit you can be guaranteed a unique Arabian experience.
