Amman's Folklore Museum, at one end of the Roman Theatre, recreates traditional Jordanian life.
Costumes, home furnishings, musical instruments and handicrafts dating back to the 19th century are on display. Exhibits include a Bedouin goat-hair tent with rug weavings and household equipment, plus replicas of traditional domestic interiors.
