Travel along Israels border with Lebanon, and close to the Israeli side of the Israel/Gaza Strip border, is advised against. Care should be taken at crossing points between Israel and Jordan. Because of current travel and other restrictions, there are limits to the level of consular assistance provided in the West Bank and Gaza Strip for most nationals. UK/Palestinian dual nationals are subject to complex Israeli travel restrictions. Crime is generally not a problem in Israel or the Occupied Territories, but sensible precautions should be taken. Meeting the Dolphins in the Red Sea
Six dolphins were originally brought from the Black Sea to the holiday resort of Eilat in an attempt to create a nature reserve with a difference. Dolphin Reef is marked out by a series of nets, but the animals themselves are not enclosed.
Yad Vashem
Yad Vashem, in Jerusalem, is Israel's memorial, museum and centre of learning dedicated to the Holocaust. It was established in 1953 by the Israeli government as the monument to a nation's mourning, in remembrance of the six million victims of the Holocaust, or Shoah.
