The distance from the airport is approximately 5 miles and the transfer time is approximately 15 minutes. The distance to the resort centre is 10 minutes. Accommodation description

Situated on the cliff top at Ras Um Sid, this luxurious hotel offers magnificent views from all guest rooms. A funicular railway takes guests from the reception area down to the main pool area with steps leading to the foot of the cliff and the hotel's private beach and snorkelling on the fringing coral reef is excellent. There is a choice of restaurants and bars at the hotel.

The Hilton Waterfalls has a total of 401 guest rooms with ensuite facilities. Some rooms are single and some are twin/double.

Bed and Breakfast includes a buffet style breakfast. This is served in La Cascade Buffet Restaurant. A typical selection includes cooked breakfast, pastries, cold meats and cheeses, selection of fruits, juices, tea and coffee.

Food and beverage

Each of the resort's restaurants has its own specialities, including fish, Thai food and Italian dishes. A feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds awaits you at the stylish La Cascade, where you can savour international cuisine created from the freshest ingredients while enjoying the panoramic views spread before you. The restaurant also has a full programme of live entertainment and themed dinner menus. The lobby, lounge and pool bars offer opportunities for less formal dining.

• There’s a world of adventure for the little ones at the Hilton Sharm Waterfalls Resort. The qualified childcare experts at the Kids’ Club will make sure they have a good time. As well as televisions and videos, there’s art and crafts, a children’s playground and a range of games.
• Older children can take advantage of the well known Ocean College Diving Centre right in the hotel. From age 8 or 9 children can take a half day bubble maker scuba diving course. For children over 10, there are 3 day or 5 day scuba diving courses also. These courses may be pre-booked before departure, saving up to 25% on the resort price.

• You must have a Passport with at least 6 months validity at the time of travel.

• All passengers must have adequate valid travel insurance for the duration of their trip.
