Accommodation description

A few miles outside Luxor, through green fields, turn right over a narrow bridge onto Crocodile Island – you have reached the Maritim Resort. A characteristic of the hotel is the serene atmosphere disturbed only by the sound of the birds singing and the fisherman baiting their catch. The unique and exotic location of this hotel makes it the perfect place in which to relax and absorb the lush surroundings. The Shehezarade Terrace overlooking the Nile provides an ideal setting for watching the sunset. A mini-zoo and relaxing walks around the beautiful gardens provide an interesting diversion from the pool area. There are 21 clusters of bungalow style rooms spread out among the gardens and trees of the island. All rooms are air-conditioned, with private facilities, TV, fridge and each with a small terrace with chairs and sunloungers. A shuttle bus and boat runs 3 times a day into Luxor – both free of charge to guests.
