The existing terminal building is being renovated and extended, together with a cosmetic revamp of most of the airport to give it a more traditional, Creole feel. The terminal is expected to be completed in June 2006, and will greatly improve the flow of passenger traffic and decrease processing time for passengers coming and going. The new terminal is also expected to house a larger duty-free shop and a new lounge, and will generally increase passenger capacity three times to that of the original terminal.
There is a walkway between the international and domestic terminals. It takes two minutes to walk from one to the other.
From Victoria city centre, head towards the south east following signs for the airport.
There are 40 short-term and 106 long-term parking spaces at the airport with direct access to terminal buildings.

Car rental desks are located in the arrival and departure halls. Most of them are open only when there is a flight in or out of the airport. Avis has several offices in town, including one at the Coral Strand Hotel (see Airport Hotels).
Road: Transportation services to all points on Mahe are available by coach and taxi. Buses operate from 0530 in the morning until 1930 at night and depart for Victoria every 20-30 minutes. The price is 3 Seychelles rupees (SCR). Taxis operate 24 hours from the airport. The trip to Victoria costs SCR75 by day and SCR100 at night.
There is a tourist help desk in the arrival hall which is open whenever there is a flight.
Money and communications: There are mail boxse, a bank, ATMs and a bureau de change. There are public telephones available at the airport, but no Internet connection.
