Description

Venue: St Fagans National History Museum    When: Daily

St Fagans National History Museum in Cardiff is the country's most popular open-air heritage attraction and brings to life 500 years of Welsh experience in the 100-acre grounds of the 16th-century St Fagans Castle in Cardiff.

Over 30 traditional buildings including a school, a Workmens' Institute and a number of craft workshops have been transported from their original sites to the Museum of Welsh Life. Indoor galleries contain collections of Welsh costumes, farming implements and exhibitions devoted to particular areas and periods.

Native breeds of livestock roam the paddocks and farmyards and there are regular performances of Welsh folk dancing, song and sports. A visit is the perfect way to introduce yourself to the customs and peculiarities of Wales.
