What you said
The spa facilities at this hotel are excellent, as are the rooms. Although all rooms have a view, the views are not beautiful. The rooms are great and all have a large balcony. The service could have been better. There were long wait times for items ordered from housekeeping and many times the calls were not answered.

Spa was excellent although for a 5* hotel I was disappointed by the size and quality of the room for the price and that it was listed as DELUXE. Decor appeared dated despite being 8 years old, but it was clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

You really can't go wrong in booking this hotel it was top class. If it was good enough for Madonna then it was good enough for me! The spa is outstanding and the views were fantastic overlooking Cardiff Bay. A short taxi to the centre ensures excellent shopping till you drop 10/10! Really friendly staff not stuffy at all a bit pricie for breakfast . Will visit again for sure!

Excellent hotel, great bar and restaurant. Have stayed here twice before in the last couple of years. My only niggle with this hotel is that there are two lifts and no main staircase, just like most modern hotels. So if you are on the first or second floor there's no option to walk you have to wait a couple of minutes for the lift to arrive each time. So don't forget anything from your room (like your mobile) or you'll be 15 minutes late meeting your friends in the bar.

Me & my partner really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was very modern, welcoming & the location was perfect. It was right next to the bay, nice shops & restaurants & a short taxi run from the nightlife.Staff were very welcoming. The spa was fantastic. On arrival the hotel arranged our evening dining & also arranged for us to go to a members only bar/club in town for the following night.

This hotel is absolutely fabulous, although very expensive. I would recommend it to anyone as a special treat and for total relaxation. The Spa facilities are great, the food is to die for and the service is second to none. Enjoy!

Why was there no tea/coffee making facility in the room? So you had to pay the best part of £3 for a cup...In addition paying for parking in the public carpark when you've paid that much for a room is a rip-off. We saw so may cars with parking tickets out the front so make sure you pay up. Otherwise nice stay.

The hotel itself was amazing would definately recommend it.I was a bit disappointed in the customer service and I thought the quality of the breakfast that we paid £50 for was a bit of a disappointment.
