Description

Venue: Glasgow Science Centre    When: Daily

A £75-million flagship millennium science attraction on the banks of the River Clyde, Glasgow Science Centre houses four floors of interactive exhibits, Scotland's first IMAX theatre and the Glasgow Tower.

Truly the pièce de la resistance of any visit, the tower is the tallest free-standing structure in Scotland, offering 360-degree panoramic views from its summit over the city, across to Loch Lomond, the Tinto Hills and the Isle of Arran beyond. If touring the city with children, this should definitely be the first port of call. After admiring the structure craning your neck looking up, take the lift for a two-and-a-half minute ride to the top, 105 metres up!

The ScottishPower Planetarium allows visitors to see the night skies as they would be if there wasn't so much light pollution in our cities. With its amazing Zeiss Starmaster projector, you can see the stars as you will never have seen them before.
