A popular retreat for the stars, the Bonham is an exclusive hotel set on a peaceful, leafy street in the West end of the centre of Edinburgh. Whilst many of the original Victorian features have been maintained, the interior has been designed to create a contemporary feel of the highest quality, with inspiring artworks hanging throughout the hotel, making it one of the coolest in the city.
The original town houses were built by John Lessels in the late 19th century, becoming a private clinic in the late 30's. One of the Bonham's most unique bedrooms even has the original copper bath and oak panelling from when it was a consulting room! Edinburgh University took over the building and it was home to hundreds of students over the years until becoming the Bonham with its bold and sumptuous interior design by Janey Armstrong and artwork by local Scottish artists.
