Description

Venue: Kremlin    When: Daily; not Mon

Kremlin opened its doors to the gay and lesbian citizens of Belfast in March 1999 and since then has firmly established itself as the heart of gay Belfast. The Soviet-themed bar is what is left of a run-down old bar called The Penny Farthing, with decor reflecting Cold War Russia.

Open six nights a week, Kremlin has something to suit everyone. The flagship Saturday club night, Revolution, plays everything from camp disco-pop in the club bar to the latest house, commercial and garage in the club room. The crowd is gay, mixed male/female and of various ages.

Armchair revolutionaries may prefer the Tsar lounge, which offers an alternative to the long bar and club with its comfy seats, candlelight and plush carpet - a good place to sit and relax.
