The airport can be accessed from north London via the North Circular Road (A406), from south London via the Blackwall Tunnel, from east London via the A13 and from the M11 via the A406 (North Circular). The airport can be reached from the West End of London via the Limehouse link tunnel.

Europcar, Hertz and Avis have desks in the terminal building. Chauffeur-driven cars are available from Europcar.
Rail: A new DLR link is now open, connecting the existing DLR network (and the Jubilee Line on the Underground) at Canning Town, stopping at four stations en route. Trains run every 7 minutes, and take 14 minutes to reach Canning Town, and 22 minutes to reach Bank station. Road: There are two airport shuttle buses, which operate Monday to Friday approximately 0600-2100, Saturday 0600-1300 and Sunday 1100-2100. The green shuttle bus runs to Canning Town station (journey time – 5 minutes). The blue bus runs to Canary Wharf (journey time – 10 minutes) and Liverpool Street station (journey time – 30 minutes). There is a stand with licensed black taxis, located directly outside the terminal building. Fares to central London start from £20-25. The Travel Line (tel: 0870 608 2608) provides further information on all transport to and from London.
The airport information desk (tel: (0)20 7646 0088) is located on the left by the entrance to the terminal. Information on transport, parking, left-luggage and flight status are available.
Money and communications: Facilities include a bank, bureaux de change, ATMs and a post box. Eating and drinking: There are several places to eat, including a restaurant, bar, trattoria and coffee shop. Shopping: There are numerous shops at the airport, including a newsagents/bookshop and a tax- and duty-free shop. A collection service is available for returning shoppers. Luggage: There is a left-luggage and lost property service at the airport (tel: (0)20 7646 0088); the information desk can provide further details. Other facilities: There is a shoeshine service.
The Meridian Business Centre (tel: (0)20 7646 0900; e-mail: meridian@londoncityairport.com) has facilities for up to 120 people in a number of meeting and conference rooms which include private work offices, audiovisual equipment, secretarial support, fax, photocopying, Internet access, catering and private dining facilities. The LCY Jet Centre provides dedicated corporate aviation facilities including VIP lounges, a dedicated VIP aircraft stand, immigration and customs (tel: (0)20 7646 0400; email: jetcentre@lcy.co.uk).
The terminal is fully accessible to disabled passengers; aircraft boarding assistance is provided, travellers should advise the airline in advance. Airport shuttle buses have dedicated facilities for disabled passengers and there are car parking spaces close to the terminal building for disabled travellers.
There are no hotels at the airport. Nearby hotels, situated around the Excel Conference Centre, include the Holiday Inn London - Docklands Excel (tel: (0)870 990 9692), the Sunborn Yacht Hotel (tel: (0)20 7059 9100) and the Quality Hotel at Excel (tel: (0)20 7474 0011). From Belfast, travel north on the M2 motorway, then turn off at junction 5. The airport is situated off the A57, 11km (7 miles) from junction 5. From the south and west, take the Moira junction on the M1 motorway, then the A26 and Nutts Corner junction.
All car parks are situated within walking distance of the passenger terminal. The short-term car park is located closest to the terminal entrance. The long-term car park is recommended for people travelling for more than four days. Car hire companies include Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and National Car Rental, with desks located in the Arrivals hall.
Rail: The nearest railway station is 10km (6 miles) from the airport in Antrim, and is serviced by a bus link called the Antrim Airlink, which departs from in front of the terminal building, Monday-Friday only. Road: Taxi: International Airport Taxis Company taxis (tel: (0)28 9448 4353) leave from outside the terminal building. Bus: An Airbus (tel: (0)28 9066 6630; website: www.translink.co.uk) service operates between the airport and Belfast city centre. The bus departs from the front of the terminal building and travels to Glengall street bus station; stopping at Templepatrick on request. Coach: A service operated by Airporter (tel: (0)28 7126 9996; website: www.airporter.co.uk) is also available to Derry/Londonderry.
The airport information desk (tel: (0)28 9448 4848) located in the Arrivals hall provides information on flights, public transport and general enquiries.
Money and communications: There are bureaux de change and several ATMs throughout the terminal building. There are also postal facilities, telephones and Internet kiosks. Eating and drinking: There is a café and bar in the main Departures lounge and a full range of food outlets in the food court. Shopping: Shops include newsagents/bookshops, duty-free, a tax-free electronics store and a gift shop selling Irish gifts. Other facilities: These include a children’s play area, baby change facilities, a travel agency and a quiet room.
The Business Lounge offers extensive business facilities, including Internet access, fax and photocopying facilities, television, newspapers and magazines, and refreshments. The lounge is available to any passenger using the airport. Ten conference and banqueting suites are also available at the Fitzwilliam International Hotel (tel: (0)28 9445 7000; website: www.fitzwilliaminternational.com).
Wheelchairs are available from individual airlines, as well as from airport staff until check-in. Passengers are however advised to book a wheelchair in advance from the airline when purchasing a ticket. Disabled toilets and telephones are also available. There is a Minicom unit at the airport information desk. Disabled car parking is available in the airport car parks; porters are on hand to assist with baggage. Staff at the airport information desk are trained in basic sign language and can provide assistance to passengers with special needs.

The Dunadry Hotel & Country Club (tel: (0)28 9443 4343) is a short drive from the airport and provides meeting rooms and conference facilities.
