Fowey Hotel in Fowey was the inspiration behind Toad Hall in 'Wind in the Willows', Fowey Hall, on the South Cornish coast and sits in a spectacular location overlooking the sailing and fishing port of Fowey within its original walled gardens and with commanding views of the river estuary and far out to sea. The town and the local sandy cove at Readymoney are both a short walk from the hotel. Nearby superb attractions include The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
Please note that due to the very exciting development of a new spa at Fowey in 2008 the Hotel pool will unfortunately not be available from now until the spa's completion the 1st of October 2008. However, the hotel is delighted to be able to offer guests pool facilities nearby. For more information, please contact the hotel. The hotel restaurant has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes.
