• Directions: From the M5 exit at junction 19 (Gordano Services) and follow heritage signs to the toll bridge (Clifton Suspension Bridge). Go over the suspension bridge (you will need 30p in silver) and carry straight on until reaching a mini roundabout. Turn right at the roundabout on to Clifton Down road and then 2nd left on to Merchants road. Follow the road round Victoria Square and down Queen's Road. At the double roundabout take the 2nd left into St. Paul's Rd. You will find the Washington Hotel 200 yards to your right.
