Across the secluded, landscaped garden is The Dower House – winner of the 2008 Best Table at the Luxury Travel awards, one of the finest restaurants in Bath and the epitome of chic with a stylish accompanying bar. The two Head Chefs produce delicious modern European food and the seasonal menu changes regularly. During the summer months guests can play croquet, take a proper English tea or dine al fresco in the garden. The tranquil Bath House, which offers a myriad of spa and beauty treatments, has a relaxation pool, hot and cold tubs, sauna, gym facilities, classes, etc.

Restaurant

  • The Dower House: The Dower House is the hotel's award-winning restaurant and one of the best restaurants in Bath, if not the best, open to both house guests and non-residents. Bathed in natural light that streams in through large windows swathed in mink coloured silk and trimmed in light olive, this fabulous restaurant is testimony to the finest in contemporary design. Splendid works of art vie for the attention of diners and each area has it own flourish and mood with distinctive fabrics. Inside, great attention is paid to detail and to complement the fine cuisine, diners really appreciate the exceptional setting. The Dower House is light and airy, overlooking the hotel's captivating private gardens, seen through large, elegant French windows.
