Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet are teenagers who fall madly in love, despite their families’ bitter feud. They marry in secret but their efforts to conceal their actions end in a heart-breaking tragedy. This timeless story has been retold in countless modern incarnations - including in the Bernstein and Sondheim musical West Side Story and in Baz Luhrmann’s 1995 film starring Leonardo di Caprio and Claire Danes.

This exciting new production stars Jack Ryder (Jamie Mitchell in Eastenders) and Sara Lloyd Gregory (Belonging) as the "star-crossed lovers" in this magnificent show. It is directed by Michael Bogdanov, two-time Olivier Award winner and one of Britain’s most respected directors of Shakespeare.

Seat numbers

• At present, we are unable to tell you your seat numbers when booking tickets. However, seats are allocated by the theatre as soon as you book your tickets and will be the best available at the time of booking. All seats in a booking will, of course, be together in the theatre, but in the very unlikely event of this not being possible we will call you and give you the option of cancelling your booking
