Decent location not far from Newcastle Airport, but nowhere near any sites or attractions. The rooms are nice but ageing. The hotel staff are very friendly and the services offered vary from a sports bar that serves food, to a basic restaurant and swimming pool. The hotel can get very busy and noisy at various points throughout the day because of the features it has. On the saturday we were there the sports bar was loud, the reception area was full of kids and we couldnt book a late check out of any room because the hotel was being used for a wedding function(something that the receptionist says happens nearly every weekend.Unfortunately our room was on the first floor above the events room where a party was obviuosly being held, and the music could be heard through the night.Get as high up the hotel as possible and face the back as this is your best option of peace. I was a little dissapointed with the restaurant. It was very bright and the tables were an inch apart, with waiters chatting and staring at you whilst you ate your food. All in all not bad for a one night stay when waiting for a flight.

We thought the hotel was on the whole good, we did have to change our room due to the excessive noise and vibrations of the fire doors, however, the staff were helpful and the move was carried out. We were going to the Royal Albert Hall so the hotel was well situated within walking distance, also there were lots of quite good places to eat close by.

My stay at this hotel was very pleasant indeed. It is not always easy to be away from home on your own for business however the staff were very friendly and made my stay very comfortable and pleasant.

We had stayed at the hotel before, so knew how good the amenities were. If you intend to venture into Newcastle at night, and have a drink. It can sometimes be difficult to obtain a taxi back. Especially around the hours of 11.00 p.m. - 1.00 a.m. Other than that excellent value for money . ****
