Founded by Sir Terence Conran, the Design Museum was the first museum in the world to be dedicated to 20th and 21st century design. Since opening in 1989, it has become one of London's most inspiring cultural attractions and has won international acclaim for its groundbreaking exhibition and education programmes. The exhibition schedule includes design, fashion, creative technology and architecture shows.

Every child visiting the Design Museum is given a free "Design Action Pack" of observation and creativity exercises to make their visit more enjoyable and informative.
