Description

Set in the North East, Billy Elliot is a funny, heart-warming and feel-good celebration of one young boy’s dream.

The original story captured the hearts of people around the world when this poignant film was released in October 2000. It broke box office records world-wide and was nominated for a raft of awards including three Golden Globes, three Oscars and 13 Baftas.

The original multi-award winning creative team from the film - director Stephen Daldry, writer Lee Hall and choreographer Peter Darling are joined by music legend, Elton John, the most celebrated UK singer song-writer of the last 30 years, to create this musical phenomena.

    The only complaint I have is the service charge added to purchases especially as it is per ticket and not pere booking and at over £5 it is not such a bargain price.

    I booked tickets for Billy Elliott the Musical (orchestra stalls). The show itself could not be faulted. However, because I was in the back half of the stalls, the view was limited in places due to the overhang of the dress circle above. This should hav e been pointed out as it was not worth the top price.

    Great show (Billy Elliott), but £32.50 seats in circle had a poor view, and were not designed for anyone taller than 5ft 5ins tall. My wife and I were so uncomfortable we could not enjoy the show and had to be moved in the interval.

    Would have been good to have been able to collect the tickets BEFORE the day it was taking place- they were for people travelling from Manchesterand a bit worried NOT having them before turning up at the theatre on the night

    The seats we were given were the worst in the house and the people sitting next to us had booked tickets for half the price. I have booked with lastminute numerous times in the past byt never again

    wasn't impressed to be told three days before the event that we couldn't have the tickets we purchased, Don't sell items that you cannot guarantee purchase. I had to take my daughter to another performance because she was upset at the problems caused by not being able to go the event originally purchased. Also the point of going with last minute is that on all my previous occasions I have got first class seats, we were let down with this show and the seats that I have received for the Back Street Boys co

    As tickets were a present - we'd already booked with you previously for the same show - it was difficult to see from the printout how our guests were meant to collect the tickets. I ended up having to give them my credit card, just in case, although it wa s clearly stated that the people going to show were different from the payee.

    I would like the option of knowing seating area before purchasing, even if there were a range of pricing.That is the only complaint, no choice to have better seating for more money.

    Customer ervice for theatre ticket purchase is difficult to track down if you don't want to talk online. I had a specific and unusual query due to a fraud on my credit card and would have really appreciated the 'comfort' of talking to someone rather than having to deal with the query online and mu query being misunderstood and not really resolved!

    You always seem to provide great theatre deals & I originally booked through you for the cost & because the seats are always good. However, I never tend to use you for holidays/mini breaks as they do not appear that cheap & the hotels never seen that appe aling.

    This theatre visit was a Christmas treat for my two neices and their parents. I was very upset that my party of six was seating in threes in seperate parts of trhe theatre. My neices are young and wanted us to all sit together. It was a real down on what would have been a great evening. I think you should give some indication (or even choice) of where you will be sitting.

    This gift was purchased on the 2nd December as an xmas present. I was then called on the 21st by a 'lastminute' representative who informed that the tickets had been cancelled. The person's english was poor and it was not clear why the tickets had been ca ncelled, and i was not offered any alternative dates/shows etc. With 3 days till xmas I then had to source tickets from another supplier for the same show (& date) at an additional expense to myself.     Tickets are allocated on arrival, and I am not good with heights but could not leave a comment about this and ended up in the upper circle right at the top, so felt really ill after sitting there during the performance.

    Booked Billy Elliot as a Christmas present for my wife. Everywhere I tried had either no tickets left or made you ring number after number in order to track something down. Lastminute.com was by contrast simplicity itself. PLenty of tickets available. Eas y to book. Great show. Thanks.

    IT WOULD BE MORE REASSURING TO RECEIVE THE TICKETS BEFOREHAND (WHERE THERE IS TIME)- or a more convincing piece of evidence to show the e-booking was successful.Guidance on when to collect tickets was vague. Were they to be collected 'at least' an hour before show, OR 'more than' an hour before show. In fact they were availbale more than an hour before the show.Some evidence of choice of theatre seat would have been helpful, or accurate depiction of the eat position.

    Only problem I had was that the tickests were not able to be sent to me and hence I had to pick them up an hour before the show - which made my pre-show arrangements a little problematic. Apart from that it was excellent. Please don't publish my comments.

    I did have a problem booking - I ended up - and paid for - a double booking. I contacted Last Minute and received a full refund for one booking. Good Service (although I would suggest a modificatgion to the booking software to avoid the problem)

    Dont understand why tickets cant be sent in the post. Had bought the tickets for an xmas present and wanted them delivered. I tried to speak to someone about whether they could be posted. It took me 4 incredibly frustrating hours of trying all options on the phone call centre and the website but couldn't get through. Had to get my booking ref from the website, which didn't show it in my account and could not speak to someone via the phone centre or website without it, though had no way of getting the

    I didn't feel that I was being ripped off by 'lastminute'. A lot of sites were charging ridiculous prices for Billy Elliott.It was so easy to pick up the tickets from the theatre [Victoria Palace] about 90 minutes before the start of the show.

    the show was brilliant but was dissappointed when arrived to find the seats so vertical that felt like falling forward throughout the performance, my 6 foot tall father also had severe difficulty in actually fitting his legs between the gap available forh is legs - as did i, who am only 5 ft 3!!!

    I was extremely disappointed with the seats. I was with a group including a very tall man who also suffered from vertigo. It would have helped if we could see where the seats are that are being booked and that a warning is given that they were very high on a very steep balcony with very little leg room.
