What you said
I have stayed in other budget hotels before and I find that the standard varies considerably. In this hotel my room was tiny. The decor and furnishings were dredful but the bed was comfortable. The en-suite facilites were terrible. To begin with the door to the bathroom was two pieces of thin plywood on a wooden frame with newspaper stuffed in the cavity to try and stop the wood from warping. Then there was the size of bathroom itself; It was harly big enough to open the door properly. There were cracked tiles, the toilet didn't flush properly and the holder for the shower head was broken I have stayed in other budget hotels and the size of the rooms is bigger and the quality of the en-suite, though basic is in good working order and you can walk into them without having to do a contortion act! Don't get me wrong I wasn't expecting the Ritz but it was exceptionally bad.

Was very unhappy with the hotel. The service, quality of room and the response of the staff was appaling. Will definitely not return to the hotel next visit to London.

This hotel was very poor, the cutains were drped with just 4 curtain hooks to cover the whol window, there were no topsheets on the beds, just a botton sheet and blankets.

If you need somewhere to stay in London that's not a noisy hostel but at a low price, this accommodation would be adequate for the job. Otherwise, I would suggest spending an extra 10-20 pounds to stay at a better "hotel".It was a quiet stay, which I needed, but 3 of 4 facilities mentioned in the hotel details provided on the website was not available. The breakfast was very simple and for the price mentioned on the website, it was not value for money.
