Restaurant
- The Caramel Room: The Caramel Room is available as a venue throughout the day for light meals or drinks as well as Prêt-à-Portea. The Caramel Room name reflects the design by New York designer Alexandra Champalimaud who matches subtle low-lighting with chocolate coloured wall coverings and snappy faux-crocodile fabrics, creating a sexy, discreet ambience in which to pass the day. To match the colour palate of the room, a new morning menu incorporates a whole range of coffees created with Illy Gourmet Coffee. All coffees come with a variety of toppings from marshmallow to chocolate chips to 100's and 1000's. To accompany these speciality coffees The Caramel Room provides a special Doughnut Menu. The Doughnut Menu offers a selection of home made miniature doughnuts with a wide range of fillings from, Red Fruit to Valrhona chocolate, from Bitter Orange to Mango and traditional crème Patissiere. The doughnuts can be dusted in original sugar or Cinnamon. A take-out coffee and doughnut service is available for guests on the run - catching a plane or travelling to the office. Please ask for details.
- Boxwood Cafe: Boxwood Café combines the best traditions of service with a relaxed atmosphere. The decor is inspired by a classical English garden and the seasonal menu reflects ingredients that could be found at a traditional British market. Stuart Gillies has developed the cuisine to its highest standards and offers seasonal dishes to a wider range of clientele including families. Head chef Stuart Gillies (Daniel's in New York and Le Caprice) presents a very different menu in stylish surroundings designed by Barbara Barry, the acclaimed Californian designer. Boxwood Café is a design concept from Barbara Barry one of the most prominent US designers, whose work regularly features in Architectural Digest, and her design of Boxwood Café is one of her first ventures in the UK. Leaf green, bittersweet brown and silver tea paper are the hallmark colours of the space which reflects the Boxwood greenery, a classic icon of the English garden.
- Pétrus: Marcus Wareing opened Pétrus at its new location within The Berkeley in the autumn of 2003. One of London's most acclaimed restaurants, Pétrus was formerly located at 33 St James's Street. Pétrus has won many accolades including a Michelin star. The name of the restaurant comes from the famous Château in the Bordeaux wine region, which is renowned for producing some of the world's finest wines. The restaurant's setting provides the perfect stage for Marcus' theatrical cuisine. Rich with vivid colours, the interior is the work of designer David Collins who takes full advantage of the claret textures associated with Pétrus. Stunning French blinds have a bold circle motif that is echoed as a detail throughout the restaurant. Two large abacuses replete with blown-glass beads provide an unusually comforting feature in this oasis of opulence. Bar
- The Blue Bar: Designer David Collins created this 50-seat bar in his inimitable style. Its most outstanding feature is the striking colour of the room, which he has termed 'Lutyens Blue'. The white onyx bar and a black crocodile print leather floor add to the sumptuous, individual feel. Choose from over 50 different whiskies, a wide range of champagnes, original and classic cocktails and a selected range of wine by the glass. A specially created Grape and Smoke menu is designed to pair cigars with carefully chosen wines to enhance the connoisseur's enjoyment. The Blue Bar is open throughout the evening and guests can order savoury and sweet tapas-style dishes.
