We found this hotel well located for central London with Russel square tube station only five minutes walk.The hotel provided a warm friendly service with a wide range of choice at breakfast time. The rooms were basic but offered comfort and all necessary facilities for a pleasant stop over. Check in and check out was quick I would say this is an ideal hotel as a central point for site seeing. All in all this hotel provided a good service and value for money - great if your working to a budget.

this is a nice hotel to go to if you need a convenient location and a cheap price for London. Dont expect anything apart from sleeping in an ok bed. Spare yourself the breafast experience.

Good location and friendly staff. The newly refurbished rooms are very nice and very good value, but some of the older rooms, especially those on the very top floor are in need of redecoration.

I had to change rooms twice when I got there because the locks on the doors were faulty. Consequently I saw 3 rooms, 2 of which were very run down (upstairs, no lift, carting my luggage up and down twice), and the final one downstairs was pretty good. Like so many small London hotels, entrance areas are smart, rooms are pretty dreadful. In the end, the room I got was good value for money, but had I had one of the other 2 it would have been ghastly.

Fortunately the hotel were helpful as I had booked the wrong date but they still had time for me. The hotel wasn't very clean. 1 night was the max I would stay there.Lastminute.com though were as usual excellent.
