very little ability to help with extreme heat in hotel, there were hot pipes in the back wall of the bedroom so it was like a furnace.

broken door locks on bathroom, tv reception poor, small portable located high in the ceiling. comments in visitors book from over a month ago. staff friendly and helpful, but dining facilities were dated.

Advertised to allow Broadband excess - this was not possible from hotel room. However, friendly staff allowed access from reception desk after hours. Breakfast very simple. Upgrade to English breakfast overly expensive for very small portion (6 pounds).

Finding The Bower House on LastMinute.com was an incredible blessing. The location was fantastic. We took a coach to London and had only a five-minute walk to the hotel. It was beautifully appointed, safe and secure. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the fine breakfast was served in a cheery dining room. We could not have been more pleased!
