I really like staying here, the staff are so friendly and the location is wonderful. BUT - and I think this is the fault of the chain owning it - it is a bit stingy. There are no spare pillow, only 3 coathangers, that sort of thing. Plus, at the moment, there seem to be no sink plugs, not in the rooms I've used, anyway. Still, keep it on your books, I like it!

The hotel was in a brilliant location. Three district line stations in the local vicinity meant we had no trouble getting there. It was a two minute walk from Gloucester Road Station. The accommodation was great, lovely room with en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was continental, but with a lot of choice. Staff were pleasant and polite.

This is a friendly hotel in a superb situation. I have stayed there several times. There are always some very small gripes which I put on their questionnaire, but nothing major, and I would be happy to stay there again.

I was very unhappy with the state of the room I was given in the Eden Plaza hoel. I complained to the hotel staff but there was no other room available. I then phoned Last Minute.com and the operater was incredibly helpful and understanding. I was offered a refund and help finding another hotel for the weekend. As I had access to the internet I booked another room online myself (from Lastminute.com). This room was excellent and the weekend was memorable. Many thanks to Jill at LM.com for her help and speed of assistance. It was much appreciated.

i emailed a complaint a while back about the eden plaza hotel. i havent had a reply yet. the hotel is advertised as being 3* - i really didnt think that the 3* rating was appropriate. there was a shower door hanging off, frayed towels, a musty smell in the shower room, TV resting on to a hinged shelf (rather than being securely fixed) which presented a hazard etc.
