The subterranean treatment rooms are in a five-star hotel in the heart of London (Mayfair, obviously). Visit for the fantastic results-driven treatments rather than a pool (as there isn't one). What happens on your spa day?

Upon arrival you will be given a tour of the Spa facilities and will be provided with a robe, slippers and fresh towels. You will then have one hour of relaxation to gently unwind before your bathing experience where you can use:

• The aromatic steam room
• The herbal sauna
• The experience showers
• The relaxation room

You will then be collected by the therapist and taken in for your treatment. Envelope yourself in an array of luxurious mineralising muds before relaxing in your private steam chamber. Based on an Egyptian cleansing ritual, this treatment is a truly indulgent experience. The perfect treat to have alone or to share with a friend or loved one.

Afterwards, drift away on heated loungers in the candle lit relaxation room where you will be served herbal tea and refreshing sorbet.

• Location: May Fair Spa, May Fair Hotel, Stratton Street, London, W1J 8LT
• The experience is available from Monday to Thursday only. Arrival times are at 8.00, 9.00, 10.00 and the treatment time will be one hour later respectively
• Enjoy use of the facilities for one hour prior to your appointment
• Please allow two hours for the whole experience

• Minimum age: 18 years
• You should be in reasonable health to enjoy your experience. Please seek medical advice if you have any conditions, which may affect your treatment such as high or low blood pressure, contagious skin disorders or severe claustrophobia. This treatment is not suitable for pregnant ladies
