This is a fantastic offer and great value providing an exciting circular ride on Flying Fish Tour’s ten metre Jet Boat, based on the naval vessel designed for the Royal Marines. The boat will take you at high speed from Blackfriars pier between Blackfriars Bridge and HMS President in the heart of central London, along what Sir Winston Churchill described as “that silver thread of British history” as far as the Thames Barrier, moving quickly away from the speed limits between the bridges.

You will be transported in comfort through all the great events in British history to modern times and the new Millennium, and we will use such icons as the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Royal Greenwich and the O2 Arena to bring the river alive for you, passing through the very jaws of Barrier itself!

You will be entertained on the way by an informative and light-hearted guide to the sights that you pass on the trip, and be back to Blackfriars pier within about 75 minutes of departure. • Underground: Closest underground stations are Blackfriars and Temple stations served by District and Circle Lines (within five minutes walk). Turn left out of Temple and from Blackfriars take the Victoria Embankment exit
• BR station: Blackfriars and Thameslink
• TfL Buses: 63 and 100 from south London, 731, 734 and 100 from east London and City and 45 from West End
• Parking: This is metered in side streets up to 1330hrs on Saturday. Free on Sunday. Try Tallis Street, Tudor Street or John Carpenter Street
