Just looking at the cost of the hotel in pounds (ignoring what it cost me in dollars), I thought that the hotel was worth what it cost. I found the staff the be very accomidating and friendly, and the hotel was nice and quiet and very clean.

The smallest hotel beds I have ever experienced. Room layout was mindless meaning the beds were tiny. Too small for comfortable sleep. Bad show.

Good location for Nottingham centre. The reception was very busy at check-in time so no help with luggage, one of the two lifts was out of action which was a problem. The bedroom turned out to be a 'small double' which apparently meant the bed was a 'threequarters bed' rather than a full-sized double bed - wish we had realised that before. Apart from that it was a lovely warm room on a very cold day - much appreciated. The breakfast was a buffet style, varied and filling. The reception kindly ordered a taxi for us which unforunately took us to the wrong venue.
