The building is stunning and set in huge grounds. The hydrotherapy pool is at the centre of this spa experience and the aroma cave is particularly popular. The spa experience at Thoresby Hall Hotel and Spa is based on the ancient ritual of bathing where the body is heated and then cooled by a series of temperature experience facilities.

Heat experiences - originating from cultures dating back thousands of years, these experiences have their roots in cleansing and beautifying the body.

Spoil yourself with one of Cleopatra’s ancient Egyptian beauty treatments - mud bathing.

While herbal steam gently fills the chamber, you and your friends apply organic mud to your face, upper and lower body. The mud acts as an exfoliant, then, as you perspire, the mud’s natural ingredients remove and absorb toxins from the body. To finish, you are treated to a tropical rain shower and some time for gentle relaxation.

This truly indulgent experience is the perfect way to begin your visit at the Spa, as the exfoliating and detoxifying properties of this treatment prepare your body for the day ahead.

Experience details

• This spa break includes one-night accommodation at Thoresby Hall Hotel and Spa in Nottinghamshire
• Check-in time is 15.00, however, guests are welcome to use the facilities from 12.00
• Check-out time is 10.00, however, guests can use the facilities for the remainder of the day
• All the experience details are to be repeated for this upgrade but they also get one mini treatment of their choice for 30 minutes

• Please consult your Doctor before booking, if you are on medication and/or under medical supervision, have cancer and currently receiving radiotherapy or chemotherapy for treatment of cancer, have had surgery within the last 12 weeks, suffer from heart or circulation problems, have had a deep vein thrombosis, have varicose veins, have any metal plates or pins, have any infections, wounds or skin diseases/disorders, have joint, tendon or back problems, suffer from epilepsy or asthma or have diabetes or thyroid problems
