• The Oaklands Restaurant: The Oaklands Hotel has built up a strong reputation for its first class restaurant which is open to both guests and non-residents. The Restaurant offers a daily menu using the best local produce, the ever popular Carvery, and the A' La Carte option which provides a more extensive selection of dishes devised by our creative chef team. We work hard to provide a diverse selection of wines chosen from the best in the world, including new world delights and old world favourites. The ambience is relaxed and informal and we do not operate a dress code but please respect fellow diners whilst in the restaurant. The restaurant is air-conditioned and we operate a non-smoking policy, however you can of course enjoy a cigarette or cigar in the bar adjacent to the restaurant. Over the years we have built up a large local following for the restaurant and therefore it is advisable to make a reservation particularly at the weekend, with Sunday lunches being very popular.
