This hotel was lovely, the best thing about it was you could rent free DVD's from reception to watch in your room. You could also induldge in the steam roo, sauna, swimming pool and jacuzzi all included in your room price.

I find that many hotels provide poor lighting in the bedrooms. The Belfry was a welcome exception.

Considering it was a 4* hotel I would have expected there to be towels for 2 people. Having said that, they were provided promptly and with an apology

A reasonable hotel in an odd location. If you are looking for an oldy-worldy experience in the rolling green fields of Cambridgeshire, don't stay here. It is a brand new hotel just off a main road, with little in the way of ambience or atmosphere, more geared up for business travellers and oddly, Hen nights and weddings. Having said that the rooms are large and clean, the restaurant pleasant (although service is extremely slow) and the spa facilities top notch. We were lucky to be there on a quiet weekend, with only one Hen group and a few business travellers. I strongly suspect that the experience would be considerably less pleasant on a busy weekend. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Attended a wedding at this hotel. Service was excellent; food high standard; facilities superb. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Rooms were adequate and clean. Would stay again even though a little outside the city.

Cambridge Belfry Hotel provided me with an extremely delightful experience. I was a lady travelling alone and the greeting receptionist was extremely warm and helpful. She gave me advice on what to do in the afternoon and how to get there and she gave me clear advice on the restaurant & leisure facilities. I enjoyed a pleasant pamper session the following day and took advantage of their extended day package. Will definitely return with friends.

Hotel is situated in the centre of a new town whereas the picture suggests a countryside location. However apart from a poor checkin service the hotel was excellent.Good food, good room, good spa
