Excellent location, nice area, nice bars. Walking distant from shops (bullring etc). Rooms are quite small but comfortable. Staff were a bit snotty! But hey who cares? I was there for the city not the receptionist.Only frustration is that the firealarm went off 3 times in one hour.....at least it's safe.

I Love this hotel, always a relaxing stay and the views from the 6th floor are great. The bedrooms although not particularly big, are very big on features like LCD, DVD, HIFI unit to name a few. The staff are nice, although this time the bar staff were alittle discurtious.

Reasonable hotel for short stay at the price.size of room- adequate definately not roomylocation- a bit off the high street if u dont have a cargood points- excellent TV with choice of DVDs to watch and music system in the room. plenty of places to eat nearby.downsides- no toiletories except liquid soap which i found a bit surprising- you could purchase it it seems (according to a caption in the toilet)

Having trawled through all of the hotels on offer in Birmingham through Lastminute.com, I decided to give the City Inn Hotel in Brindley Place (Birmingham) a go. It is situated within staggering distance of Broad Street, is immacualte, and was certainly more than reasonably priced. All of the rooms have good facilities; TV, DVD, Stereo etc, and very comfortable beds. All in all, a fantastic choice.

This hotel (CITY INN)is without doubt one of the best hotels in the birmingham broad street area, they offer a great room facility with 17" LCD screen ,DVD and stereo which by my recollection is un heard of unless you are in the SAS Radisson which is substancialy more expensive. The decore is contemporary and service, although slow at times, is friendly, especially late at night.

I thought the hotel was beautiful and immaculately presented. The staff we're all very friendly and it was in a brlliant location close to Broad Street and to the Bull Ring. We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed it. we will defiantely go back again.

I'm a regular vistor to Birmingham, not only on business but also for the varied entertainment and retail options that are best provided in larger cities.I started staying at the City Inn a couple of years ago, and through LM.com, it is now my first choice. Access to Broad Street, NIA, Symphony Hall and central Birmingham can't be bettered

I have used lastminute.com for my last 3 hotel bookings. Having tried the site by chance for the first time in Oct 04. To be honest, I dont see the need to go anywhere else - It is quick, easy, accurate, good rates too!
