Relaxing Gulet Cruise 

Location: Marmaris, Turkey.

A gulet cruise is wonderful combination of sightseeing, al fresco eating and drinking, swimming in a huge, crystal clear pool (the Med!) and, of course, cruising along one of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful and photogenic coastlines. Add to all this a series of picturesque coves, ancient sites, magnificent scenery, snorkelling and sunbathing and you have the kind of holiday you can only dream about on cold, wet, winter evenings. In our view, a gulet cruise is the ultimate in holiday enjoyment. Simple pleasures, no stress or strain and above all, a wonderful feeling of timelessness. Absolute magic.

Your gulet will offer a truly memorable cruise beginning and ending in Marmaris.There is no fixed itinerary as such although a similar route is taken on most cruises (see typical itinerary below). No two days are the same but a fairly typical day may go along the lines of, first, a leisurely breakfast followed by a couple of hours’ cruising before dropping anchor in a secluded bay for swimming, snorkelling and lunch. Afternoon cruise, again for a couple of hours, and then anchor for the night either in a quiet bay or close to a small harbour with, perhaps, the opportunity of going ashore. Dinner, of course,will be on board.

MARMARIS – FETHIYE - MARMARIS

DAY 1 MARMARIS

Arrival into Marmaris and transfer to marina and to board the Gulet. Check in and free time till dinner onboard. Overnight at Marmaris port.

DAY 2 EKINCIK

After breakfast one of our guides will come on board to advise about the route and life onboard. The tour commences towards Ekincik. In this bay we have an optional excursion - Dalyan Caunos. You can discover this area with small boats from Ekincik bay. Passing through the river which is covered with reefs along to the famous king tombs on the hill. Visiting the Caretta Caretta beach (Iztuzu) will be the last point. The Caretta Caretta turtles visit this area to lay their eggs. Stay overnight at Ekincik bay.

DAY 3 AGALIMANI – BATIK HAMAM - KIZILADA

Early in the morning the captain sets sail for Disibilmez and you will be in the world famous Fethiye gulf. Overnight at Kizilada.

DAY 4 FETHIYE

Early in the morning we dock in the Fethiye marina to service the boat. Whilst the Gulet is getting cleaned etc there is an optional tour in a jeep safari revealing the secret canyon Tlos and Öludeniz (lunch is included in this tour).Overnight at Fethiye Marina.

DAY 5 GOCEK ISLAND –YASSICA ISLAND

After breakfast we leave Fethiye marina and sail towards to the Gocek Islands. Overnight here with an excellent view.

DAY 6 BEDRIRAHMI BAY- SARSALA- AGALIMANI

After breakfast we will visit Bedri Rahmi Bay and on to Sarsala and Aga Limani to overnight there.

DAY 7 KADIRGA-PARADISE ISLAND- MARMARIS

After breakfast or early in the morning, depending on the weather, sail to the Kadirga bay, swimming breaks at bays and passing by Turunç bay then Paradise Island and about 17:00 arriving in Marmaris, overnight at Marmaris marina.

DAY 8 DISEMBARCATION

After breakfast leaving the Gulet.

NB: The captain may change the route depending on the weather conditions.

Your holiday price includes:  Return flights, airport taxes, fuel surcharges, air passenger duty, transfers and accommodation for 7 nights on an full board basis.

Accommodation Description:  Although there is no official star rating, we would give the Gulet Cruise a 3 star rating. All cabins come complete with private WC and shower. There is a sunbathing area with sun matresses, a bar and a shaded deck for meals and drinks. Fishing equipment, masks, snorkels and flippers are available. There are 3 or 4 crew working onboard depending on the capacity of the yachts and your safety is of their utmost importance. There is a bar on every yacht, providing soft and alcoholic drinks which can be paid for locally.
